Incoming - Players Pack Coming Soon!

That’s right! - The Players Pack for the 25 year Anniversary Arc40k in 2023 is coming soon! Final edits and checking are underway as you read this - so the wait won’t be for very much longer.

And this year there is a Big Change to the way you can access it!

New Arc40k website has unlocked loads of information - have you checkout out all the pages?

With the new Arc40k website we’ve already changed how you interact with the event.

We’ve provided more regular information about Arc40k’s history and how others focus on preparing for the event through our growing library of articles.

Our newsletter gives subscribers a heads up and early access to news and information before it’s released elsewhere.

Signing up to the website not only allows you to review results and resources from across the years but in the future will be your only way to purchase tickets to the event!

Players Packs across the years - printed and .pdfs

So to embrace the expansion and scope of our website the biggest change to the Players Pack will be that anyone will be access the page on the website*

That’s right - access and read it all online!

So some information we’ve already released is that the date for Arc40k will be Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 March 2023. And it will return to the Batman Royale in Coburg, Melbourne, Australia.

If you’re not thinking about your army you probably will need to think about it in terms of the recently announced points cap of 1350pts.

The schedule is being set to see you playing 6 games across the weekend - and there will be some tweaks needed to accommodate some other special activities.

If you came to Arc40k in 2022 then there are some things that haven’t changed. And they’ll be easy to find within the new online Players Pack.

How you score Vps within games and how they add up and are averaged to create the Battle Component of your Tournament Scores hasn’t changed.

We felt that this system has worked well over recent events.

It fits well as it rewards you for scoring points in game for achieving Primary and Secondary Objectives and doesn’t create a big disadvantage for someone who has lost a tight fought game. If you focus on scoring VPs you will be rewarded with your Battle Score. Consistency will be the key to maximising the Battle Component of your overall score.

Vps for Objectives - both Primary and Secondary. What an awesome way to accrue Battle Points

The team are currently working to fine tune and play test the missions so that the challenge of scoring Points from playing games will continue to be a challenge but very much achievable.

We’ve made some fine tuning to the wording in our Sports and Army Scoring but they remain essentially the same. The balance and how these points contribute towards overall champion andBest Sport have not changed.

As we close in on the Player’s Pack going live on the website we’ll update you with more about the other features of presenting this important component for every player to be able to access, read and understand before preparing for Arc40k in 2023.

*if you insist on using kindle or ebooks to access your information then there will also be a .pdf of the Player’s Pack available to download.
