We’re thrilled to announce that ArcOpen is going digital - and it’s going to make your weekend smoother, faster, and more secure than ever.
For 2025, we’re launching ArcScore for ArcOpen, to deliver a fully integrated online registration and tracking system that covers every stage of your model’s journey - from pre-registration to check-in, photography, judging, and final collection.
ArcScore would be familiar for anyone who has played at an Arc40k. It’s been seamlessly organising and tracking that event for years. Players have been using their mobile devices to input results, vote for players choice and for judges to include painting scores. We’ve now developed it to run ArcOpen.
What Does This Mean for You?
You’ll register your entries before the event, check in what you’ve brought on the day, and we’ll take care of the rest. Every model will be carefully tracked, photographed, judged, and returned to you using its entry number. All stored and tracked digitally through ArcScore.
Let’s break it down and run through this new feature and how It is going to work.
Before ArcOpen

The first step is to sign up or log in to ArcScore. Purchase a ticket to ArcOpen before the day is the best option.
The ArcScore portal now has an additional button for ArcOpen pre-registration - press it to start registering your entries.

The second screen allows you to select which categories you have pieces that you are thinking of bringing to ArcOpen. You can pre-register as many entries as you like - even if you aren’t certain they will be entered.

Select a Category to access the Add Entry screen.
For each entry, you’ll provide:
Entry name - what is it called?
Description of the model - give us some details - they will be useful for sharing in social media.
An image of your entry - so there’s no confusion to match these details to your model

You don’t have to bring everything you register, but the more you add before coming to ArcOpen, the faster things move for you on the day.
At the Event (Saturday Morning from 10.00am)

When you arrive:
Using your mobile device and the email address linked to your ticket - sign into ArcScore to confirm you’re onsite.
Select the models you’re submitting from your pre-registered list.
Purchase any additional entries (your ticket covers one entry in each category entries - extra entries are $5 eac
The submitted models will be assigned an ArcOpen entry number.
We’ll create an entry card with the number and category - this stays with your model through the event.
Once that’s done, just hand over your models to our team and they’ll be carefully moved to the photography area.
Photography & Display

Your models will be verified (entry number and card checked against it’s arcscore details)
We’ll take photos
Entries will then be placed in the appropriate display cabinets, with their number and category clearly visible

Model Collection (Sunday Afternoon)
Once the awards ceremony is complete:
Visit the Collection Desk and show your ArcScore entry summary (on your phone or mobile device).
Our team will verify your entry numbers, descriptions, and images.
You’ll confirm that you’ve collected all your entries.
What You Need To Do Now
Buy your ArcOpen entry ticket as soon as possible - there’s no other way to enter ArcOpen - only General Admission tickets can be purchased on the day.
So you need to be a ticket holder to access the ArcScore portal.
Pre-register your entries. If you can enter all the details before the event, the smoother your check-in will be on the Day.
Prepare to check in on Saturday morning, select the models you’ve brought, and hand them over.
Enjoy the event knowing your models are tracked, judged, displayed, and safely returned using a modern, transparent system.
This is the biggest upgrade to the ArcOpen experience - and we’re proud to deliver something that supports both the security of your entries and the professional presentation of the competition.
