About
@Hobbycrusaider - It’s a privilege to join and be part of the Arc40k team! I’ve been involved with Arc40k since Arcanacon III and was inducted into it’s Hall of Legends in 2016.
So what else do I bring to the team. Firstly I’m hoping that Arc40k can continue to be the pinnacle Hobby event for Warhammer 40,000 here in Australia. I’m joining the team to specifically help out with all things painting.
So what other experience do I add to the team?
Well I secured several Australian Golden Demons in the early noughties, before I became an organiser and judge of the Australian event for several years.
My hobby efforts since then revolve around building armies. Some of these forces have appeared in Australian White Dwarf - when it was published here. I painted Tau as a part of a tale of 4 gamers series, as well as Templars Encarmine for the World Wide Medusa Campaign. But my efforts in painting armies has seen numerous Best Presented, Best Painted or peer voted Player's Choice awards.
At Arc40k alone I’ve won the Player's Choice Award on four occasions, and been second or third at numerous other times. I’ve secured the Best Painted Trophy Five times, and amassed more painting points than anyone else in the history of this event.
So, as the Hobby CrusAider I’ve consistently achieved the accolades and satisfaction of creating the most awesome of Armies that hit the heights for their construction, conversion, painting and overall theme!
Hopefully, now that i’m part of the Arc40k team. I can share some insights, ideas, secrets and truths about how to create and push the boundaries of building armies and the displays that showcase them. It would be nice if other hobbyists from across the hobby community can be inspired and motivated to learn how I’ve done it my way.
It will be great to see if the team can continue to encourage hobbyists to take the plunge and can grow to become the creators of their own awesome Warhammer armies.
